 Custom Protein Expression  and Purification

Cytokina's selection of bacterial and baculovirus protein expression systems provides a choice for your application. We will work with your specifications for quantity, bioactivity, structure, post-translational modifications, and purity to express proteins that meet your specialized requirements. Project status and data reports are monitored emails once a week.

Our specialists will discuss with you which expression system are properly for you project. You can chose our mammalian cell, baculovirus, yeast, or bacterial expression systems according your application. 

Our services includes:

• Amplification/isolation of the gene of interest out of a customer-supplied vector and subcloning it into a bacterial expression vector or baculoviral expression vector or yeast/mammalian expression vectors.
• Verification of the authenticity of the subcloned gene by restriction enzyme digest and sequencing.
• Maxi-prep of the recombinant vector DNA.
• Transformation of recombinant constructs into high-efficiency expression bacterial strain or other proper expression strains.
• Mini-induction to over-express the target protein.
• Test for the expression of the recombinant protein by western blot (customer must provide appropriate antibodies) if desired.
• One to 50 liters of bacterial culture will be induced with IPTG and harvested for protein purification.
• Purifications: Cytokina provides not only GST/His6 affinity purification, but also ion exchange, HIC, and other means purifications, to help you get high pure protein. Tag can be move according to customers requirements.
